US SHIPPING

Free Shipping Offer

  • FREE Standard Shipping on orders over $99 within the contiguous US (calculated on order subtotal before Shipping Protection)
  • $6.95 Flat Rate Shipping on orders under $99
  • Free shipping automatically applies at checkout
  • Shipping costs to addresses outside the 48 contiguous states will be calculated at checkout

Shipping Timeframes

  • In-stock items: Ship within 1-2 business days
  • Standard shipping delivery: 2-5 business days from ship date
  • Expedited shipping: Available at checkout for faster delivery

Important Shipping Notes

  • Most products ship from our fulfillment center in New Jersey
  • We ship via USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on package weight and destination
  • Orders cannot be modified once a tracking number is assigned. If you need to make changes, contact us immediately at contact@playroomcollective.com - we cannot guarantee changes can be made, but we'll do our best to help if your order hasn't shipped yet
  • Please verify your shipping address carefully - we cannot replace packages delivered to an incorrect address you provided, even with Shipping Protection

Shipping to PO Boxes

For larger items (strollers, doll furniture, ball pits, easels), USPS shipping to PO Boxes costs significantly more than FedEx/UPS delivery to street addresses.

If you order a large item to a PO Box, we'll contact you within 1-2 business days with options:

  • Provide an alternative street address for FedEx/UPS delivery
  • Full refund (no restocking fees)

SHIPPING PROTECTION

Shipping Protection is provided by Corso, a third-party service offered at checkout for a small fee. It provides comprehensive coverage for shipping issues.

Once your package leaves our warehouse, we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. We strongly recommend adding Shipping Protection at checkout to ensure your order is fully protected.

What Shipping Protection Covers:

Lost packages (never delivered)
Stolen packages (porch piracy after delivery)
Damaged items in transit
Packages misdelivered to wrong address due to carrier error

What Shipping Protection Does NOT Cover:

Packages delivered to an incorrect address you provided at checkout
Buyer's remorse or change of mind (see Returns & Exchanges policy)
Product quality issues or defects (contact us directly for warranty support)

Filing a Claim

WITH Shipping Protection:

  1. Visit https://app.corso.com/playroom-collective within 7 days of expected delivery date
  2. File your claim directly through the Corso portal
  3. Claims are typically processed within 24-48 hours
  4. Corso will provide replacement or refund

WITHOUT Shipping Protection:

  1. Email contact@playroomcollective.com within 7 days of delivery date (or expected delivery for lost packages)
  2. We will file a claim with the carrier (USPS/UPS/FedEx) on your behalf
  3. Resolution depends on carrier approval and may take 2-4 weeks
  4. If the carrier denies the claim, we cannot provide a replacement or refund
  5. Carrier coverage is limited - we strongly recommend Shipping Protection for orders over $100

Important Notes About Claims:

  • Shipping Protection fee is non-refundable once your order ships
  • All claims require reporting within 7 days
  • For damaged items: retain all original packaging and provide photos
  • Double-check your shipping address - we cannot replace packages delivered to an address you entered incorrectly, even with Shipping Protection

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer worldwide shipping with the following conditions:

Shipping Rates & Responsibilities

  • International shipping rates are calculated at checkout
  • Rates can be expensive - we cannot always offer low shipping costs for international orders
  • Customer is responsible for all:
    • Shipping and brokerage charges
    • Customs duties and import taxes
    • These fees can sometimes be significant depending on your country

International Order Policies

  • No returns or exchanges on international orders
  • If package is voluntarily rejected at customs (due to fees) and returned to us, a 25% restocking fee applies
  • Customs processing times vary by country
  • We cannot provide updates on packages held in customs
  • Shipping Protection is not available for international orders

DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS

Reporting Requirements

All shipping issues must be reported within 7 days:

  • 7 days of delivery date for damaged items
  • 7 days of expected delivery date for lost or never-received packages

What to Retain

  • All original packaging and boxes until issue is resolved
  • Photos/videos of any damage for carrier or Shipping Protection claims

How to Report


RETURNS & EXCHANGES (US Only)

Return Eligibility

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery date
  • Items must be unused with original packaging intact
  • Refund issued minus return shipping costs
  • 25% restocking fee applies to opened or used items (we do not resell used items)

How to Start a Return

  1. Email contact@playroomcollective.com with your order number
  2. Specify whether you're requesting a return or size exchange
  3. Receive return authorization and shipping label
  4. Ship items back with all original tags and packaging within 14 days of receiving the return label
  5. Refund processed within 5-7 business days of receipt and inspection

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or personalized products
  • Oversized items (noted on product page)
  • Intimate goods and sanitary items
  • Items purchased during "FINAL SALE" events (e.g., End of Year Sale)
  • Clothing with tags removed (see Clothing Returns below)

We Reserve the Right to Deny Refunds For:

  • Items no longer in new condition
  • Items not in original packaging
  • Items damaged, missing labels, instructions, or pieces

REFUND PROCESSING

  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days after receiving and inspecting returned items
  • Original payment method will be credited
  • Return shipping costs are deducted from refund amount
  • Shipping Protection fees are non-refundable

POLICY UPDATES

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of this Shipping & Returns Policy. It is the customer's responsibility to check this policy periodically for changes.
