Pop & Peek Memory Game

The memory game that never gets old.

The Mrs. Ertha Pop & Peek is a wooden memory matching game built around a beautifully illustrated tree board, 16 satisfying wooden tokens, and 10 interchangeable themed boards that change the whole game every time you play. Fruits one day, forest animals the next, alphabet after that. Same mechanic, endless variety, and a wooden quality that puts every cardboard memory game to shame.

Why Kids (and Parents) Love It

Memory games are one of the most well-researched tools in early childhood development. They build concentration, visual recognition, and working memory in ways that transfer directly to reading, math, and language learning. The wooden token mechanic adds a tactile dimension that standard card-based memory games miss entirely: lifting, placing, and popping each disc is satisfying in a way that keeps younger children engaged through the whole round.

The 10 interchangeable boards are what make this worth the price. A standard memory game gets solved and shelved. This one changes themes - fruits, flowers, alphabet, numbers, fall, insects, animals, vegetables, and more - keeping the challenge fresh across months and years of play. The 5 double-sided pages store neatly and swap in and out of the board in seconds.

8 matching pairs per round is the right amount for ages 3 and up. Challenging enough to require real concentration, achievable enough that children finish feeling successful rather than frustrated. A game children want to play again is a game that’s actually teaching them something.
