Bebenita 1-Year Warranty Policy

WARRANTY COVERAGE

Bebenita stands behind the quality of our handcrafted dolls and wooden doll beds. We provide a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use of Bebenita products, including:

  • Joints and eyelashes that detach during normal play
  • Cradle beds that don't balance properly in center position
  • Significant fading or discoloration of fabrics or paint within warranty period
  • Wood surfaces that crack or split not due to impact or misuse
  • Stitching that comes undone without excessive force
  • Accessories that break during intended use
  • Moving parts that stop functioning properly
  • Paint that chips or peels without impact or scratching
  • Unexpected warping of wooden components in normal indoor conditions

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use
  • Damage resulting from accidents, falls, or improper use
  • Damage from exposure to moisture or outdoor environments
  • Damage resulting from Excessive Force or aggressive play
  • Surface scratches from normal play and handling
  • Minor color variations between products or batches
  • Slight fabric pilling after extended use
  • Damage from pets or exposure to food/drinks
  • Fading due to direct sunlight exposure over time
  • Damage from cleaning with products not recommended in care instructions
  • Issues arising after customer modifications (cutting hair, repainting, etc.)
  • Damage from storing in inappropriate environments
  • Any damage caused by accidents (dropping, stepping on items, etc.)

DEFINITION OF EXCESSIVE FORCE

Excessive force is defined as use of the product in a manner that exceeds its intended purpose or design limitations. Examples include:

  • Grabbing a doll by the arm, swinging it, causing the arm to detach, and subsequently being unable to reattach it
  • Standing or putting excessive weight on doll furniture designed only for dolls
  • Throwing or dropping products intentionally and/or repeatedly
  • Bending limbs or joints beyond their normal range of motion

EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY

The following are specifically excluded from this warranty:

  • Products used for commercial purposes (daycares, schools, etc.)
  • Damage during transportation if not in original packaging
  • Damage from natural disasters or "acts of God"
  • Normal color changes in natural wood materials over time
  • Minor loose threads that don't affect structural integrity
  • Slight variations in doll positioning or posability
  • Products transferred more than once (one gift transfer is allowed)

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact our customer service (contact@playroomcollective.com) with your order number and product SKU
  2. Provide clear photos showing the defect
  3. Include a detailed description of the issue

We reserve the right to request additional information as needed to process your claim.

REMEDIES

For valid warranty claims, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace the defective product with the same or comparable item
  • Provide store credit for the original purchase price

Important Note: The warranty period for replacement products continues from the original purchase date and does not restart.

SHIPPING COSTS

  • For defects reported within 90 days of purchase: We cover all shipping costs
  • For defects reported after 90 days of purchase: Customer may be responsible for shipping of the replacement, depending on the defect and the product; we will cover return shipping of the defective product

CARE REQUIREMENTS

To maintain warranty coverage, products must be used and maintained according to the specific care instructions provided on each product description page.

TRANSFERABILITY

This warranty may be transferred once if the product is given as a gift. The warranty cannot be transferred in cases of resale.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Our liability is limited to the remedies described in this warranty. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Playroom Collective LLC reserves the right to modify, alter, or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the warranty policy will be posted on our website and will apply to purchases made after the posting date. For existing purchases, the warranty policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply. We recommend checking our website periodically for the most current version of our warranty policy.

LEGAL RIGHTS

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.
