Raduga Grez Nesting Acorn set is a fun and educational toy inspired by the traditional Russian matryoshka nesting doll. The Nesting Acorns can be opened and closed, arranged according to size, become hiding spots for feathers, marbles, large beads, chestnuts and other treasures. Children will love opening and closing nesting acorns, arranging them by height, etc.

Nesting Acorn set is made by lathe method – a round billet is put on a rotating machine and the craftsman uses a sharp knife to give the desired shape to the wood. This is an old technique and very few people own it. Therefore, the number of toys is limited. 

Raduga Grez is a family-owned company that designs and manufactures heirloom quality toys using only sustainably sourced solid wood and natural water-based paint. Each Raduga Grez piece is un-varnished with a velvet soft finish and made without the use of plywood or glue. Hand crafted in Russia
